Steering Committee

The scientific-technical iCity steering committee consists of internal and external project participants, including representatives of SMEs, the public sector and industry. The steering committee is closely linked to the competence centres of institute for applied research in order to be able to work out technical, social and economic solutions to problems in the field of "Intelligent City".

The external representatives act as experts, specialists and decision-makers and are called upon to represent the sector-specific interests of their company and to help shape the project orientation in a practical way.

A committee meeting is held once a quarter, which is mainly intended to facilitate the mutual exchange of information between the subprojects and the steering committee. Knowledge transfer should first enable the results from subprojects to be incorporated among each other, and second, impulses for new project ideas to be used and multiplied.
