Welcome to the AI Perception Lab!
The AI Perception Lab is used for research activities in the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and robotics. This includes the development of bachelor's and master's theses, most of which are written in cooperation with companies and research projects.
In addition, courses on these topics are held in the lab as part of the bachelor's programs in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence as well as Computer Science and the master's programs in Mathematics and Software Technology.
The AI Perception Lab, together with the NLP Lab, forms the HFT AI Lab.
Equipment
The lab has 16 workstations with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards. The computers are equipped with Python, ROS2, Gazebo, and the OpenGL graphics library, among other things.
