Information Centre of the HFT Stuttgart

In the Information Centre (IZ), the three departments: IT-Basic Services, IT-Online Services and Library are concerned with information supply and information processing. They work closely and cooperatively together:

  • Library
    The task of the library is to provide literature and media as well as information for study, teaching and research.
  • IT-Basis Services and Support (IZ-ITB)
    The IT-Basis Services and Support department is responsible for the operation of the basic IT infrastructure and the e-mail system as well as the support of the pool rooms and the client systems.
  • IT-Online Services and Applications (IZ-ITO)
    The IT Online Services and Applications department is responsible for the IT of the university administration, online functions, e-learning support and other IT services.

Information and Support Counter
As a central contact point for information supply at the HFT, the IZ offers an Information and Support Counter in the library. There the "Info and Support Team" helps all members of the university with questions and problems concerning the library and the IT services of the university.
