Information Centre of the HFT Stuttgart
The "IT Services" department works together with the library to provide information services and information processing at HFT Stuttgart. Both departments work closely and cooperatively together and together form the Information Center:

The IT Services department at the Information Center is responsible for operating the basic IT infrastructure and email system, as well as maintaining the pool rooms and client systems. It is also responsible for the university administration's IT, online functions, e-learning support, and other IT services. - Library
The task of the library is to provide literature and media as well as information for study, teaching and research.
Information and Support Desk
As the central point of contact for information at HFT, the Information Center offers an information and support desk in the library. There, the "Information and Support Team" helps all university members with questions and problems relating to the library and the university's IT services.
The IT Support Team is available to provide advice and assistance, for example with:
- Setting up Wi-Fi and VPN
- Questions about printing and scanning
- Problems with HFT account login details
- Setting up MFA
- Assigning a new password
Opening hours during the semester:
Mon 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
Tue 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
Wed 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Thu 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
Fri 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Closed from December 24, 2025, to January 6, 2026
