The HFT Stuttgart wants to develop its students into qualified, responsible and independent personalities. In addition to the transfer of specialist knowledge, the development of methodological, social and action skills therefore also plays an important role. The university consciously perceives its educational mission in all strata of society: it stands for advancement through education and barrier-free access, it sees differences in life and origin as enrichment.

Sustainable development is anchored in many subjects at the university - explicitly and implicitly. The HFT Stuttgart offers all students the opportunity to further their education in the field of sustainable development alongside their studies - within the framework of the Ethics and Integral Studies programme, students can also have their knowledge and skills in this area certified.
