HFT Stuttgart has set itself the task of developing its students into qualified, responsible, and independent individuals. In addition to imparting specialist knowledge, strengthening methodological, social, and practical skills therefore also plays an important role.
Sustainable development is firmly anchored in many subjects at the university: these include the Master's program in Sustainable Energy Competence (SENCE), the Master's program in Environmental Protection, and the Bachelor's program in Climate Engineering, which have been running for many years. In addition, important environmental and sustainability aspects are integrated into the curricula of the individual degree programs. These include, among others, the compulsory subject Climate-Friendly Architecture and Building Technology, Sustainable Transport, Production, and Material Flow Systems, Renewable Energies/Building Energy Technology, and topics related to sustainable corporate management.
