"VON ERSTEN ERFOLGEN" is moving into its next phase. The talks will be taking place on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 7.00 pm in Building 8 (1st-floor atrium) of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Breitscheidstraße 5, 70174 Stuttgart.
This semester, Andrea Buch and Kasia Kucharska will be giving presentations.
Andrea Buch | Studio Cross Scale, Stuttgart
Andrea Buch began her career as an interior decorator and designer in the craft sector and studied interior design at the HFT Stuttgart from 2005 to 2008. She gained her initial experience in interior design working on existing detached houses. Until 2023, she worked on school refurbishment projects at KUBUS360. In 2026, she completed her part-time Master’s degree in ‘Sustainable and Resource-Efficient Construction’ at the University of Wuppertal. She has been a lecturer at the HFT since 2026 and works at Studio Cross Scale, primarily in the fields of transformation and heritage conservation.
Kasia Kucharska | Kasia Kucharska, Berlin
Kasia Kucharska is a Berlin-based brand, founded in 2021. The reinvention of traditional craft and technology-driven manufacturing techniques stands at the core of our design philosophy.
With a focus on new ways of making garments and special attention to sustainable and conscious manufacturing techniques, we are pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion design. We print garments instead of sewing them, introducing an intelligent twist on what it means to be confident and sexy today.
Our approach is not focused on silhouette making. Instead it is based on process ideas and on finding new technologies and techniques for traditional craft. We want it to be a suggestion to consider clothing as a medium not yet exhausted.
