A FORUM FOR EXCHANGE AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ON BUILDING WITH HEMP
Following on from the Hemp Construction Symposium, first held at HFT Stuttgart in 2024, the second edition of the event will take place on 23 and 24 October 2026. The two-day symposium is dedicated to the world’s oldest cultivated plant and is aimed at architects, interior designers, civil engineers and anyone interested in the topic of ‘building with hemp’. The focus will be on the potential of industrial hemp – ranging from fundamental material properties and technologies, through research and teaching projects, to construction projects that have already been completed. Whilst the first day of the event will focus on theoretical discussion, the second day will feature practical presentations of various construction methods, with demonstrations of how they are applied.
