The four-day conference at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, which is organised by the Universidad in cooperation with HFT Stuttgart and the HFT Stuttgart Alumni Group, has the motto "The Challenge of Climate Change & Geoinformation Solutions".

With numerous lectures, hands-on workshops - on topics such as satellite-based climate change monitoring, machine learning in GIS and remote sensing - and plenty of networking opportunities, AGSE 2025 will once again promote collaboration on cutting-edge research and practical applications in the fields of geotechnologies, remote sensing and GIS in order to tackle urgent global challenges. From HFT Stuttgart, Prof Dr Dietrich Schröder, Prof Franz-Josef Behr, Prof Dr Paul Rawiel, as well as Prof Angela Blanco-Vogt, among others, will be present with contributions and workshops. Numerous alumni of the HFT Master's degree programme Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics have travelled from all over the world to the AGSE 2025.
