Design IP1 | Noah Blessing & Marco Dippon | 3rd semester | summer semester 2019
The ‘House of One’ in Kabul, Afghanistan combines three different religions within one building complex. Location and climate analysis, as well as the consideration of traditional building methods and the use of regional building materials are the basis for the adobe building‘s design. An apparently forgotten building site in the immediate vicinity of a municipal garden is to be revived.
The work was supervised by Prof. Markus Binder, Prof. Lutz Dickmann, Dr. Uli Jakob, Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Leiser, Prof. Ralf Petersen & Anna Wöllhaf M.A.
