Exhibition Contribution by Bachelor’s Students in Interior Architecture at the “Treffpunkt Baden-Württemberg” Pavilion at the Ellwangen State Garden Show
This exhibition contribution focuses on human-made phenomena that reflect the changing nature of our relationship with nature and the animal world.
During the winter semester of 2025–2026, fifth-semester Bachelor’s students in Interior Architecture explored topics such as soil sealing, light and noise pollution, water consumption, urban heat island effects, microplastics, animal husbandry, particulate matter, and pesticide use.
The resulting designs are not intended as mere backdrops, but as a medium for shared experience that facilitates encounter, co-creation, and critical reflection on the status quo—and opens up new perspectives on a possible coexistence of humans, animals, and nature.
The exhibition contribution was supervised by Prof. i.V. Florian Bengert and M.A. Bärbel Bilger and is part of a student competition from which a design for implementation was selected and realized at the end of the semester.
