Axel Buether is one of the leading colour experts in modern evidence-based colour psychology at the interface between psychology, design and environmental design. In addition to his professorship for visual communication at the University of Wuppertal, he founded the Institute for Evidence-Based Colour Psychology. His research focuses on empirical research in real-life contexts, scientific precision and practical applicability. His book, The Power of Colour, vividly conveys the psychology of colour. His latest work, "The Great Book of Colour Psychology", has just been published.
“Inside-Outside” is a lecture series offered by the Interior Design programme at HFT Stuttgart in cooperation with Blackbox Häfele, initiated by Prof. Diane Ziegler. The aim of the lecture series is to link interior design with other disciplines on the basis of current issues. The series started in fall 2024 and has since taken place once a semester in the Blackbox of the Häfele company in the Römerkastell in Bad Canstatt. In addition to Häfele, the lecture series is also supported by the Knödler Decker Foundation of the HFT Stuttgart.
