From 6 May to 26 May 2024, the 'Stadtradeln' campaign will take place in Stuttgart for the seventeenth time. All university members can take part and collect kilometres on their bikes. The HFT team would like to set an example for climate protection again this year.

Cycling is fast, fun and climate-friendly. This year is the fourth time that the University of Applied Sciences is taking part in the City Cycle as a team. Last year, the HFT participants covered a total of 8,478 km and avoided around 1.4 tons of CO2 in the process. This put HFT in 41st place among all Stuttgart teams. In 2023, over 220,000 people throughout Baden-Württemberg took part and cycled almost 50 million kilometers - a new record!
The 'Stadtradeln' campaign (www.stadtradeln.de) aims to make these benefits tangible and help actively reduce CO2 emissions. Take part and cycle as many everyday journeys as possible during the 21 days. To increase motivation, different teams will compete against each other. Taking part is easy: use your bike for as many journeys as possible during the campaign period. The Stadradeln app allows you to record your journeys automatically. You can take part even if you don't live in Stuttgart. Students, teaching staff and employees are invited to become part of the team and actively set an example for climate protection: Register here free of charge.
