Embodied knowledge, design practices and living archives in hybrid spaces. [Hybrid]Forum 12 explores how design, communication and knowledge processes in architecture are changing in the context of increasing digitalisation and virtuality – and how embodied knowledge in motion (e.g. as gesture or interaction) can be methodically explored, communicated and archived as a design resource in hybrid, digitally and virtually augmented spaces. A distinctive feature of the format is the combination of academic lectures, artistic and performative practice, and technical implementation in the XR+LAB. The aim is to facilitate hybrid forms of presentation alongside traditional contributions and to experiment with a ‘living archive’ as a form of knowledge that can be experienced spatially.
