An essential focus of the activities in the laboratory for building material testing is the performance of material tests on wood, metals, natural stone, cement, concrete, ceramics, masonry in addition to the lectures.

Particularly noteworthy is the preparation of experimental and testing parts of final theses on various topics in cooperation with companies from the construction industry or engineering offices as well as the integration of the laboratory with the active participation of Professor Dr. S.
