Bauhaus Excursion to Weimar and Dessau
In the winter semester of 2021, 1st and 3rd semester students, as well as incoming students from the University of Cincinnati, went on a Bauhaus excursion to Weimar and Dessau.
They started chronologically in Weimar. A student from Bauhaus-University gave us a guided tour to the Gropius Room as part of a "Bauhaus Walk." After that, a visit to the Bauhaus-Museum in Weimar was on the agenda, followed by a guided tour of the Bauhaus building in Dessau. On the following day, the Masters' Houses and the new Bauhaus-Museum in Dessau were on the agenda until the return trip to Stuttgart.
The excursion was supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Jürgen Breuning and A.M. Dipl.-Des. Melissa Acker.
