Prof. Dr. Sonja Bauer from HFT Stuttgart is this year's speaker at TEDxStuttgart, the self-organized offshoot of TED Talks in Stuttgart. She will be talking about water reuse, a forward-looking research topic. Because until now, we in Germany assumed that we would never run out of drinking water. But in some places, that has been the case at times during prolonged hot spells in recent years.

TEDxStuttgart will take place on September 18, 2021, Mozartsaal - Liederhalle Stuttgart, starting at 06:00 p.m. The overarching theme of the event this year is "Déjà-Vu – Vuja-De… or the blurred perception".

Sonja Bauer deals with "Water Reuse": how to treat and reuse wastewater.

She reveals here why she is so passionate about this topic.
