History of Art and Culture | 6th Semester | Summer Semester 2020

The lecture series covers the basics of production design, cinematic means and terms as well as film semiotics. Equipped with this basic knowledge, students are working on visual analyses of selected films.

Most of the rooms you find 'outside' are rectangular boxes that don't allow for interesting camera angles and where the light is constantly changing. In the studio, you are God. Everything can be built and it only gets dark when you want it to.
