Successful reapplication for DAAD EPOS funding

Master Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics receives 8 full-time scholarships annually

Successful reapplication of the Master program Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics in the EPOS program of the DAAD - the program for development-related postgraduate studies at German universities

Within the framework of the EPOS programme, the course has been supported by the DAAD with up to 8 full-time scholarships since 2001 and receives additional annual financial support from the DAAD in the amount of approx. 30000 €. All students of the course of studies benefit from this, e.g. through additional tutorials or language courses.

However, the support is only valid for 8 years at a time. In the context of a reapplication, the supported study programmes must undergo a comprehensive assessment. In this year's selection meeting of the DAAD, the Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics course was once again deemed worthy of funding. The Commission emphasises that this is a course of study that has been continuously developed and modernised and still deserves the label "profound education". It is a well-established course of study that can compete with its professional rivals.

The successful re-application ensures that the course of study can continue to make its contribution to the internationalisation of the HFT Stuttgart by awarding scholarships to applicants from developing countries at least until 2029.
