They will discuss their personal approaches, strategies and experiences in project implementation. Their individual attitudes towards architectural and building culture issues will also be examined. We will gain insights into their respective work and the people behind it.

This year's Point 7 at the HFT Stuttgart brings together three current positions from architecture and urban planning – with very different perspectives on the relationship between city, countryside and built space.

We are looking forward to welcoming Philip Stapel (Octagon Architekturkollektiv, Leipzig), Sergio Marazzi / Andreas Reinhardt (Marazzi Reinhardt ARCHITEKTEN SIA BSA, Winterthur) and Sven Fröhlich (AFF Architekten GmbH, Berlin).

In cooperation with the Architektur-Forum Baden-Württemberg: Wege, Plätze und Versorgung – Infrastruktur im Wandel (Architecture Forum Baden-Württemberg: Roads, Squares and Supply – Infrastructure in Transition), three further Point 7 lectures will be taking place from December onwards. More information on this will be available at a later date under News.

The third lecture we will be hearing is:

Sven Fröhlich | AFF Architekten GmbH, Berlin

‘Parts of the Whole’ on 27 November 2025, 7 p.m.
AFF Architekten has East German roots and was founded in Weimar by brothers Martin and Sven Fröhlich. Today, AFF is run in Berlin together with Ulrike Dix and Monic Frahn as a collective of architects, craftsmen and researchers. In addition to their practice, they teach and conduct research at various institutions.
