Arno Lederer passed away on 21 January 2023 at the age of 75. All those who knew him and had personal, professional and collegial ties with him continue to be saddened. In many respects, he leaves behind a large gap far beyond Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg.
We want to reflect on Arno Lederer with companions and look back, but also take a look at the future. We talk about the work of LRO-Architekten, the partner office he co-founded and was a member of until shortly before his death. And we talk about Arno Lederer as an author and speaker, as a teacher and as a person.
From 1985 to 1990, Arno Lederer was Professor of Construction and Design at the HFT Stuttgart, before moving first to the University of Karlsruhe and later to the University of Stuttgart. He also served as a university councilor of the HFT Stuttgart from 2003 to 2012.
