Vita

  • Dr. Stefan Knauth is a professor in the Faculty of Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Geomatics art HFT Stuttgart Universtity of Applied Sciences since 2008. His research topics include indoor positioning, ubiquitous computing, smart industry & energy as well as IoT and embedded devices. Earlier stations include a Deputy Head position at the CEESAR Centre (now iHomeLab), Lucerne University of Applied Sciences Switzerland, and  3GPP System Engineer for Siemens ICM/ICN, where he already focussed on device positioning. He holds a Ph.D. degree in solid state physics from the Experimental Physics Department at Leipzig University, Germany.
