A total of 26 teams were selected and nominated in advance. Already a huge success: An unbelievable eight (!) student teams from the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences have made it to the finals. Interested parties can watch and cheer along online or at the public viewing at the HFT.

The Start-up BW Academic Seed Accelerator Program (ASAP BW for short) is a state-wide competition for the best start-up ideas from all Baden-Württemberg universities. It aims to motivate students to advance and implement the creative ideas they develop during their studies into business models. A total of more than 100 teams from 25 universities and colleges are taking part in the program. Twenty-six of them have made it to the finals and will be allowed to present themselves on a large virtual stage on Wednesday, July 20. The task is to convince the jury of the merits of the team's idea in 90 seconds. There are prizes to be won in different categories and up to 1000€.

This time, the HFT Stuttgart sensationally represents the largest share of teams. With eight teams, almost every third team in the final comes from the HFT. This shows the high start-up potential hidden within the university and how well it is now succeeding in raising this. So far, the teams have been supported by the university's own PLAN G start-up center. Most of the teams come from this year's cohort of the start-up format "STARTPLAN - In eight weeks to a start-up."
