HFT surveying and geoinformatics alumni filming the SWR series "Expedition in die Heimat"

Elias Pantle and Jonas Marquart, HFT alumni of the Surveying and Geoinformatics degree programme, met with presenter Annette Krause from SWR for filming in the Kolbing cave.

For the production of a new TV documentary "SWR Expedition in die Heimat" on the topic of caves, SWR became aware of the bachelor thesis of two HFT alumni from the surveying and geoinformatics program. Elias Pantle and Jonas Marquart worked on the topic "Comparison of photogrammetry and laser scanning in cave surveying" in their bachelor thesis in 2019. For the SWR filming, they have been in front of the camera in Kolbing Cave on the Southwest Alb, which they had surveyed at the time. They were interviewed by the presenter of the program Annette Krause. The recordings are part of the SWR series "Expedition in die Heimat", which was broadcasted on SWR television on 17.06.2022 at 20:15.
