Laboratory for Construction Chemistry

Tasks

An essential focus of the activities in the laboratory for construction chemistry are macroscopic and microscopic investigations of inorganic and mineral building materials as well as ageing simulations. In addition to the lectures on construction chemistry, laboratory exercises with chemical experiments are held. Workstations are available to students for the independent performance of experiments as a practical part of their final theses.

Particularly noteworthy are practical projects carried out in cooperation with building authorities, companies and the preservation of historical monuments.
