Exhibiton on show from 28 June to 20 July 2025 at the Süddeutscher Kunstverein in Ammerbuch-Reusten

The master designs 24/25 "Barn in Reusten", supervised by Prof. Peter Schlaier and Christoph Manderscheid, will be exhibited as part of the "Expansion instead of vacancy" event.

The exhibition opening will be taking place on 28 June at 4 pm in the Süddeutscher Kunstverein in Reusten, a disused pig and cowshed next to the village church.

Students on the Master's degree course in architecture have explored the unrenovated barn that houses the Kunstverein. On display are large-scale architectural models and plans. They will be on site for the opening of the exhibition to present their conversion ideas.

Next door is the carefully converted Zehntscheuer Reusten, which can also be visited on 28 June 2025. Under the title "Conversion instead of vacancy - the potential of old buildings in rural areas", a lecture and panel discussion will take place there at 5 pm. Positive examples will be used to promote a sensitive approach to village centres. The aim is to inspire people to preserve the substance of the history they contain and the lively spaces.
