What awaits our Bachelor students during the preparation week?

The HFT Stuttgart is one of the few universities in Germany to offer you a compact preparation week to help you get started with your studies. During our preparation week you will have the opportunity to:

  • get to know the university and your fellow students as well as the professors,
  • receive information from the central institutions, such as the library, examination office, student advisory service or didactics center,
  • learn tips and tricks about your studies from tutors from higher semesters,
  • learn important skills by means of a project assignment specific to your course of study, and
  • reflect on your learning strategies at the university with qualified trainers.

You can find more information about the preparation week and the exact schedule for your study program here:

Questions about questions about the start of the study

Do you have any questions? The student department and the student advisory service at HFT Stuttgart are your first point of contact for information about your studies. Here, your questions about the organization of your studies (such as the beginning and course of studies, lectures and exams, fees, internships and forms) will be answered. Further specific questions can also be answered by the Student Advisory Service. They will help you get started in "student life" and accompany you on your way through your studies.

Important note: Study against the backdrop of the Corona pandemic.

Please inform yourself regularly about current measures and applicable regulations via our Corona Update. In addition, the Rectorate of HFT Stuttgart will inform you about updates via e-mail.
