News

19 April 2021: Attendance and use of student workstations only with a negative rapid test.

Due to the tense infection situation, the state of Baden-Württemberg has again adjusted its Corona regulation. Teaching will continue to take place online in the summer semester 2021. In study-relevant individual cases, justified exceptions for face-to-face events (and exams as well as exams) are still possible. Please note that all students must submit a negative Corona quick test to the relevant lecturers prior to attendance events. This also applies to the use of student workstations. Early booking of an appointment at a test centre is recommended for this purpose.

Unfortunately, commercially available self-tests cannot be accepted.

23 March 2021: Voluntary Corona Testing

For the attendance events approved at the HFT, we would like to ask you, for the protection of all university members, to carry out a Corona self-test beforehand on a voluntary basis. This is possible in the immediate vicinity of the HFT-Stuttgart in the newly established rapid test centre in the Schnelltestzentrum Hohe Straße (Jugendhaus Mitte, Hohe Straße 9, 70174 Stuttgart). Appointment bookings can be made online at the following link:

Questions & Answers

In case of a positive test, you will be asked (in addition to the notification to be made immediately to the health department) not to come to HFT for the next 10 days. In addition, you will be asked to send a list with the names of the persons with whom you have had close contact to corona@hft-stuttgart.de. Please refer to the latest information from the RKI.

All further information on the procedure can be obtained from the Health Department and the Ministry of Social Affairs in Baden-Württemberg

Teaching will take place online until the end of the summer semester 2021.

Attendance events that have already been approved can be held as planned - on the basis of the currently valid CoronaVO - in strict compliance with the hygiene concept.

Please note that these approvals are always granted on the basis of the currently valid Corona Ordinance.

Until the end of the summer semester 2021, only university staff and university members may enter the university.

On the HFT campus, there is an unrestricted obligation to wear mouth-nose coverings in all rooms and on the open-air grounds from 13.10.2020. This includes corridors, courtyard, lecture halls, lift, meeting rooms, kitchens and group offices (the latter if more than one person is present). The use of FFP2 masks or medical masks is mandatory. We would like to point out that the procurement of FFP2 masks is your responsibility. Only in urgent emergencies are individual FFP2 masks available in the central secretariats in buildings 1-3 and in building 8.

Due to the current obligation to provide information in order to trace possible chains of infection, registration is mandatory for attendance events. If possible, this should be done online via the HFT app or via web variants. Alternatively, paper forms and collection containers are available in the entrance areas of the university buildings.

Online registration:
Registration is carried out with a smartphone in the HFT app or via a mobile web variant by scanning the QR code. It is also possible to register via laptop. Every room change requires a login/logout. It is not allowed to log in only for the first lecture and log out after the last lecture.

Registration in paper form
Alternatively, registration in paper form can be done in the entrance areas of the buildings. Registration forms are available there and there are collection containers. In order to minimise the organisational effort, we kindly ask you to use online registration as a priority.
