Videoconferencing instead of face-to-face lectures
On 11th March the state government decided that the start of lectures at all Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) in Baden-Württemberg will be postponed from 16th March to 20th April due to the current corona pandemic. The HFT Stuttgart reacted quickly and made teaching content available to students in digital formats and online lectures as early as 23rd March.
Online start of the summer semester 2020
It is now clear that the majority of the 2020 summer semester will probably have to be conducted online. For the Hochschule für Technik this means: HFT goes digital! Within a very short time all 32 courses of study will convert their learning and teaching content to digital alternatives so that teaching can be carried out as a full semester in the summer of 2020.
