Graduate of the ClimateEngineering degree programme wins the MAT Award 2021

Beate Kleinewefers, who successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in ClimateEngineering in 2020, can be excited about her victory in the MAT Award 2021.

The jury honoured a total of 30 aspiring and promising talents in the real estate industry at the digital award ceremony on 23 April 2021. The Most Aspiring Talents (MAT) of the real estate industry were called upon to participate.

With her victory, she is now one of the top 30 under-30s in the building and real estate industry in the DACH region and the associated MAT network. In addition to her academic education, in which her Bachelor's thesis was awarded as part of the BEST OF 2020, her various commitments such as her four-year working student activity as well as her voluntary association work ultimately tipped the scales towards her promising participation in the award.

"As one of the few engineers among the winners, I am very proud of this award. I thank the university for being one of my guidance and would like to stay in contact with HFT Stuttgart," says Beate Kleinewefers.

Beate Kleinewefers' main job is with Drees & Sommer in the cross-location competence team BIM Solutions and she is also studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Digital Transformation in Vienna. She has also been supporting professors Horst Sondermann and Steffen Feirabend since the summer semester of 2021 with her teaching activities in the BIM+ course at the Faculty of Architecture and Design.

So the university will continue to be in touch with her, not least through the alumni network, of which Kleinewefers is a member.

We are looking forward to her further career steps and congratulate her on this milestone on her professional path.
